St. Peter’s Nursing School/College and Research Institute is located in the prime location at Hosur, Krishnagiri District, Tamilnadu. It was established by St Peters institute of higher education and research (SPIHER) Trust, in the year 2008 to cater the needs of Para Medical care to the districts Krishnagiri of and Dharmapuri in Tamilnadu and also to generate Para Medical graduates among the rural students population so as to improve the health care facilities even in the remote villages in these districts.
This college is affiliated to the Tamilnadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai, Approved by Tamilnadu Nurses and Midwives Council, Chennai, Directorate of Medical Education, Chennai and Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi.
The College is attached with the one of the best tertiary care hospital in the state, the St.Peter’s Medical College hospital and Research Institute Hosur, a 665 bed Multi-disciplinary super specialty hospital. The hospital facilitates the World class clinical training and exposure for the students of B.Sc Nursing and Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (DGNM) programs.
