The Minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission. The minimum educational requirements shall be passing of
| Higher Secondary school certificate examination (12 years course)
| Senior school certificate examination (10+2), pre-degree examination (10 +2)
| An equivalent with 12 years schooling from a recognized board, or University with science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English with minimum of 45% aggregate marks (PCBE). For SC/ST candidates 40% aggregate marks
| Admission of married candidates are allowed
| Candidates should be medically fit
Minimum and Maximum age for admission will be 17 and 35 years respectively. For ANM/LHV, there is no age bar. The minimum educational requirements shall be passing of
| Pass in +2 with any subject, the percentage of marks is 40% as prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council
| Those who have cleared 10 +2 Vocational ANM course (revised after 2001) from the school recognized by Indian Nursing Council
| ANM training i.e. 10 +1 ½ years training should also have passed +2 its equivalent examination
| In addition to the above, admission procedure can be laid down by concerned State Nursing | Council / Nursing examination Boards (S.I.B.E, M.I.B.E, C.M.A.I)
| Admission of married candidates are allowed
| Candidates should be medically fit
